If you visit Cranbrook’s Canadian Museum of Rail Travel, you’ll never miss your train.
“They’re waiting at the station to take you on a trip to the past,” says Garry Anderson, the museum’s executive director and driving force.
These deluxe hotels on wheels have been lovingly collected over 33 years of dedication and hard work and Anderson is one of the conductors on the journey.
“The work is done with quality and authenticity in mind,” Anderson says.
Dancer Helps Nanaimo Put Foot Forward
Life, as John Lennon once sang, is what happens when you’re busy making other plans.
That's what happened to Holly Bright. She was on her way to a becoming a physiotherapist, when a casual decision to take a contemporary dance class changed her life.
“I fell in love with dance and ended up at the studio every day,” Bright says. “To me, life is short but wide, so there was nothing to do but say yes to that opportunity.”
