COVID-19: Arts and Culture Resilience Supplement Now Available for Application
The Arts and Culture Resilience Supplement is now open for applications from eligible organizations. Applications will be reviewed as they are submitted, on a continuous (or rolling) intake. The program has a final application deadline of May 31.
The supplement is part of the BC Arts Council’s response to the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizations who have received at least one BC Arts Council project assistance grant in the past three years within eligible programs can apply for a one-time grant of up to $5000. Full details on eligibility are available on the Arts and Culture Resilience Supplement page.
Organizations that received an Operating Assistance grant during their most recent operating year will automatically receive the supplement and do not need to apply through this program.
The Resilience Supplement is designed as a quick-response to help arts and culture organizations with the short-term, adverse financial impacts of the COVID-19 pandemic. Organizations can choose how they spend the funding, guided by the principles of:
- Supporting organizational sustainability;
- Supporting artists and arts and cultural workers.
We are committed to keeping you informed about our response to COVID-19. The most up-to-date information will always be posted on our dedicated COVID-19 page and also be available on individual program web pages. Updates will also be announced on BC Arts Council Facebook, and Twitter accounts.
