Project Assistance Intake Schedule

For the 2025/26 year, the BC Arts Council’s Professional Project Assistance program will have two intakes separated by fields of practice.

Spring intake opening April 9 and closing May 22 for:

• Literary Arts
• Professional Performing Arts
• Arts Training Organizations

Fall intake opening September 3 and closing October 16 for:

• Media Arts Organizations
• Visual Arts Organizations
• Museums and Indigenous Cultural Centres
• Professional Arts Festivals

Community Arts Project Assistance will continue to be offered in the Fall intake.

This is an adjustment to intake schedules only, there are no changes to the Project Assistance program itself.

What if this timeline doesn’t match our project plans for this year?

We recognize this may impact potential applicants who were planning on applying in Spring 2025 whose program intake has now moved to Fall 2025. There are also other program opportunities, such as Arts Impact Grant or Arts Circulation and Touring that may be a good fit for your project. If your organization is impacted by the intake schedule, please contact a program advisor.
