Share Your Images from the Last Year

We’re seeking images from grant recipients that help tell the story of B.C.’s arts and culture community over the past year. These images will be considered for use in our 2023/24 annual report, on our website, and potentially on other platforms.

We’re looking for images that show:

  • BC Arts Council funded activities which happened between April 1, 2023, and March 31, 2024.
  • the diversity of practices and projects that make up arts and culture in the province.
    (e.g., performances, exhibits, technical productions, accessibility initiatives, literary activities, and mentoring)

We welcome candid and behind-the-scenes shots and understand that resolution or image quality might not be as high as traditional marketing or publicity photos. Please feel free to share them with us anyway.

Image suggestions:

  • Resolution: 300 DPI for print use.
  • Size: Preferred dimensions of 2000 pixels or greater on the longest size.
  • Format: JPEG, PNG, or TIFF. PC-compatible files only.
  • Watermark: Please do not include a watermark.

Anything under 10MB can be emailed directly to us at BCAC.Communications@gov.bc.ca. To send images over 10MB, please contact us at the email above to arrange for an alternative method to transfer the files.

All photos need to be accompanied by a completed photo release form with additional detail about photo usage.

You will be notified by July 2024 if your photos are chosen for publication.
